I think its ridiculous that I can't delete this account. The contract when I signed up six years ago said nothing about not being able to delete my account. I've tried the help desk several times and they have done nothing to help me. Just sarcastic feedback. They don't even care if people are getting harassed online by people who access information through these sites. I think if you're not going to let people delete their own accounts you should at least allow them to make their profiles private, or change their usernames. They should stop worrying about keeping accounts open merely because the number looks good and start thinking about the innocent people that come here not knowing that this thing could potentially be on their internet record forever.
